Our pork is from 'Landrace/Large white x Duroc' pigs that are traditionally reared at Westend Farm in Bishops Canning. Using gilts (that's a young female pig to you and me) they're bred and reared outside on the Marlborough Downs, free from hormones and growth promoters, have the freedom to roam and are straw bedded - it's not a bad life for a pig. This ethical rearing is the best way to ensure the rounded and succulent taste that Pork should have.
